Tarpaulin

A tarpaulin, or tarp, is a large sheet of strong, flexible, and waterproof or water-resistant material. It is used as a protective covering in a wide range of industries and for household purposes.

Polyethylene (Poly Tarp): This is the most common and budget-friendly type, made from woven polyethylene fabric and coated on both sides. They are lightweight and waterproof but can degrade over time with UV exposure if not treated.
Construction: Protecting building materials, equipment, and partially completed structures from rain, sun, and dust.
Agriculture: Covering crops, hay, and machinery, providing shelters for livestock, and creating greenhouse covers. Some types are also used for pond liners and rainwater harvesting.
Transportation: Covering and securing loads on trucks, trailers, and wagons to protect goods from weather during transit.
Home and DIY: Used as drop cloths for painting, covering outdoor furniture, and creating temporary storage solutions.
